Ebraiding.net Advisory Board
The ebraiding.net Advisory Board has been established to advise the ebraiding.net executive team on issues related to Hair Braiding and Natural Hair Care in the United States.
EAB's activities and advice provide the necessary input to ensure that the company's mission statement is fully and well implemented so as to enhance the overall growth of the Hair Braiding and Natural Hair Care industries. The 10-member Advisory Board assists ebraiding.net in maintaining a complete and accurate understanding of Hair Braiding and Natural Hair Care issues critical to the success of the implementation of the organization's programs.
Composed of eminent professionals from different sectors, the diverse memberships of the Board assure the expertise reflecting the full breadth of ebraiding.net's responsibilities in the Hair Braiding and Natural Hair Care environment in the United States.

Nicole Learson is a public relations and marketing professional.

Previously with the Harrison County Tourism Commission as Director of Marketing, Nicole Learson oversaw advertising campaigns, periodical publications, grant applications through the state and advertising assistance program through the Commission, primary and secondary research efforts, inquiry response for consumer and trade, public and media relations, and website development and maintenance.
She has organized several award-winning promotions and been responsible for generating coverage from publications like the New York Times, Wall Street Journal and USA Today.
Prior to joining the Commission, Learson worked nine years for Tulane University, where she continues to teach as an adjunct instructor. She spent four years coordinating the Pediatrics Pulmonary Fellowship Program for the Tulane University Medical School. In 2001, she transferred to the Office of Academic Affairs on Tulane's main campus and worked for the Associate Provost to promote and develop first-year experience programs that introduced students to the New Orleans community and its tourism products.
In August 2004, she transferred to Tulane's Mississippi Coast Campus in Biloxi, where she was responsible for advising more than 200 students. She also worked closely with the campus dean on marketing and strategic planning.
Learson received her Bachelor of Science degree at Southern University at New Orleans in 2001.
She received a degree in Business Administration, with a minor in Spanish. In 2005, she graduated from the University of New Orleans with her Master in Business Administration degree, with an emphasis in Marketing.
Learson is a member of Public Relations Association of Mississippi (in association with SPRF), Mississippi Coast Young Professionals and the Ocean Springs Business and Professional Women (BPW). She was also a member of Destination Marketing Association International, Southeast Tourism Society and the Mississippi Tourism Association.
She volunteered with various charities and civic organizations, including March of Dimes, the American Heart Association, the Biloxi NAACP, Mississippi Scholars Program and Bienville Toastmasters. As immediate past chair, she currently serves on the Ocean Springs Library Board. She served on the Gulfport Unit Board for the Boys and Girls Club, the Gulf Coast Health Educators Board, and the community advisory boards for Gulfport High School's Academy of Hospitality & Tourism and South Mississippi Living Magazine. Learson is also an active member of the Mississippi Gulf Coast Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
Learson has been recognized as a Distinguished Alumni by NAFEO, one of the 2009 recipients of The Network Journal's "40 Under Forty" Award, the 2008 recipient of the Biloxi Regional Medical Center Caring Women Award and one of South Mississippi's 2006 Top 10 Business Leaders Under 40. She is also an alumnus of Leadership Gulf Coast.
